Sarah Heinss, LCPC

Founder & Lead Therapist

I’m so glad you’re here!

Starting therapy can be vulnerable and I know first hand that life is messy. It’s made up of complex, varied experiences, many of which can leave us feeling wounded, confused, or lost. I’m here to walk alongside you as we make sense of those experiences—past and present—and work toward finding meaning and hope, even in the hardest parts of your story.

Areas of focus include:

Anxiety, Phobias, and OCD
I support clients in understanding patterns that maintain anxiety while building practical, evidence-based skills to manage it. Together, we work on responding differently to anxious thoughts, tolerating uncertainty, and gradually facing fears in ways that feel manageable and empowering.

Creative Expression
With a background in graphic design, I value creative expression as a powerful way to process and heal. When helpful, I incorporate artistic approaches into therapy to support emotional exploration beyond words.

Relationships & Adults of Emotionally Immature Parents
I work with clients navigating identity, life transitions, and relationship challenges. This can include exploring family dynamics, cultural or faith influences, career direction, and evolving senses of self. Our work creates space for reflection, clarity, and more authentic ways of living.

I care deeply about understanding who you are and who you’re becoming. It’s an honor to hear your story and walk with you through growth and healing.

I warmly welcome clients from all walks of life. For those desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counseling and spirituality into the therapeutic process, honoring it as a meaningful part of healing.

My Approach

My approach honors the uniqueness of each client and is grounded in compassion, curiosity, humility, and genuineness. I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief, identity questions, trauma, and relationship challenges. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), existential therapy, and narrative therapy. I believe in a collaborative process—one that helps you better understand yourself while also offering practical tools for meaningful, lasting change.

Practical Tools

Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.

Meaningful Change

We build with clarity, act with integrity, and always stay curious.
